Mike Stapleton grew up in a middle class family in Indiana during the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. He was married for 22 years and helped raise 3 productive children. His father died very young, at the age of 50, from complications of colon cancer surgery. Mike watched his Mom struggle through the aftermath and finally remarry. During the birth of one of his sons, his wife, Debra, was put on bed-rest in the hospital for nearly 3 months. The pregnancy was nearly lost multiple times, but was finally a success. Through it all Mike kept his family safe, went back to school and finished his degree, with honors. He also attained a real estate license in Texas, and his Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Needless to say, Mike has had his share of ups and downs. He definitely has an empathetic heart and ear, and he cares deeply about his clients, their families, and their lives. Mike views money as a tool. He sees it as a vehicle to provide security and stability. He sees himself as a guardian of sorts, helping to protect his clients and their families.
